EchoPadLanguages
The 25 languages Parakeet v3 understands.
EchoPad uses NVIDIA Parakeet TDT 0.6B v3, which transcribes 25 European languages:
Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Maltese, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish and Ukrainian.
Detect automatically works well for most recordings. Pick the language in Settings → Transcription when recordings are short or people switch languages. The language is saved in the front matter as a code such as pl or en.
Speaker detection does not depend on the language.
